Comment: Lawsuit could halt GM Tencel talk

Eucalyptus WASHINGTON – An alliance of US conservation organisations have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Agriculture over its approval of a large field test of ‘cold tolerant’ genetically engineered (GE) eucalyptus trees spanning several US states – the same genus of trees used by Lenzing to make its Tencel cellulosic textile fibre.
